Creating a VTC or VBC
A Virtual Trucking Company (VTC) or Virtual Bus Company (VBC) is your organization’s home on TrucklineMP. This guide walks through eligibility, the creation wizard, and what happens after your company goes live.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You need:
- A signed-in TrucklineMP account
- Permission to create a VTC/VBC (platform eligibility rules apply)
- No existing company of the same type where you are already the owner (one VTC and one VBC ownership per account)
Open the creation flow at trucklinemp.com/vtc/create for VTCs, or trucklinemp.com/vbc/create for VBCs.
Eligibility check
Section titled “Eligibility check”When you open the create page, TrucklineMP runs an eligibility check automatically. If you are not eligible, the page explains why. Common reasons include:
- Already owning a company of the requested type (VTC or VBC)
- Platform standing or restrictions (note: there is no minimum account age requirement to create a company)
- Feature disabled by platform configuration
You cannot proceed until eligibility passes.
