Accessing Appearance Settings
Section titled “Accessing Appearance Settings”- Click your avatar in the top-right corner
- Select Settings
- Select the Appearance tab
- Or navigate to
trucklinemp.com/user/me/settings?tab=appearance
Themes
Section titled “Themes”Choose how TrucklineMP looks. Your theme preference is saved automatically.
Available Themes
Section titled “Available Themes”- The default Marathon aesthetic
- Dark backgrounds with sharp, industrial styling
- High contrast text
- Easy on the eyes in low-light environments
- Clean white backgrounds
- High contrast for bright environments
- Professional appearance
- Easy to read in well-lit rooms
Awfully Familiar Grey
Section titled “Awfully Familiar Grey”- Dark grey with green accents
- A unique aesthetic that feels strangely familiar
- Medium contrast
- A balance between dark and light themes
Selecting a Theme
Section titled “Selecting a Theme”- Browse the theme cards
- Each card shows a preview swatch with the theme’s colors
- Click on a theme to apply it
- The change is instant and saved automatically
- A small indicator dot appears on the active theme
Authorized Apps
Section titled “Authorized Apps”Manage third-party applications that have access to your account.
Accessing Authorized Apps
Section titled “Accessing Authorized Apps”- Go to Settings > Authorized Apps tab

What Are Authorized Apps?
Section titled “What Are Authorized Apps?”Third-party applications you’ve granted access to your TrucklineMP account through OAuth. These might include:
- Truck configurators
- Event management tools
- Community bots
- Analytics dashboards
Reviewing Apps
Section titled “Reviewing Apps”For each authorized app, you can see:
- Application name — The name of the third-party app
- Permissions granted — What the app can access
- Date authorized — When you granted access
Revoking Access
Section titled “Revoking Access”- Find the app you want to revoke
- Click Revoke
- The app’s access is immediately removed
- The app will need to be re-authorized if you want to use it again
When to Revoke
Section titled “When to Revoke”- You no longer use the application
- You suspect unauthorized access
- The app was compromised
- You’re cleaning up old connections
Data Export
Section titled “Data Export”Request a copy of your data stored by TrucklineMP.
Accessing Data Export
Section titled “Accessing Data Export”- Go to Settings > Data Export tab
- Or navigate to

What’s Included
Section titled “What’s Included”Your export includes:
- Profile information (name, handle, picture, social links)
- VTC membership history
- Activity logs
- Configuration data
- Forum posts and threads
- Event participation records
How to Request
Section titled “How to Request”- Click Request Export
- Your export is queued for processing
- You’ll receive an email when it’s ready
- Download the data file from the link in the email
- The download link expires after a limited time
Data Format
Section titled “Data Format”- Exports are provided in JSON format
- All data is machine-readable
- You can import it into other tools or keep it for your records

Section titled “Forum Settings”Configure your forum preferences.

Section titled “Accessing Forum Settings”- Go to Settings > Forum tab

Available Settings
Section titled “Available Settings”- Notification preferences — Control how you receive forum notifications
- Display options — Customize how forum content is displayed
- Signature settings — Set a signature for your forum posts
Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”Themes
Section titled “Themes”- Choose a theme that works in your typical lighting conditions
- Dark themes are better for night driving sessions
- Light themes are better for daytime use
Authorized Apps
Section titled “Authorized Apps”- Review authorized apps periodically
- Revoke apps you no longer use
- Only authorize apps you trust
- Check permissions carefully before authorizing
Data Export
Section titled “Data Export”- Request an export before deleting your account
- Keep backups of your data
- Review your data to understand what’s stored
Troubleshooting

- Clear your browser cache
- Try a different browser
”I can’t revoke an app”
Section titled “”I can’t revoke an app””- Ensure you have a stable internet connection
- Refresh the page and try again
- Contact support if the issue persists
”My data export hasn’t arrived”
Section titled “”My data export hasn’t arrived””- Check your email spam folder
- Exports may take a few minutes to process
- Contact support if it takes more than an hour
