VTC Livery Guidelines

Partnered VTCs may receive a custom in-game truck livery as part of the Partnered VTC Program. These guidelines define what is allowed, what must be avoided, and how the approval process works.

  • Custom liveries are available only to Partnered VTCs unless the Truckline team grants separate authorization.
  • Your VTC must hold active Partnered status at the time of submission and while the livery is in use.
  • If your partnership is revoked, your custom livery may be removed from the game.

  1. Confirm eligibility — Your VTC must currently hold Partnered status.
  2. Prepare your design — Create livery artwork that follows the content and design rules below.
  3. Submit for review — Contact the partnerships team via:
  4. Include in your submission:
    • Your VTC name and TrucklineMP handle.
    • High-resolution design files or a clear mockup of the proposed livery.
    • A brief description of the design and how it represents your VTC.
    • Confirmation that you have the rights to use all logos, artwork, and text in the design.
  5. Staff review — The Truckline team will review your submission against these guidelines. This may take 1–3 weeks depending on volume.
  6. Implementation — Once approved, the team will implement the livery in-game. You will be notified when it is available.
  • Major redesigns require a new submission and staff approval.
  • Minor corrections (e.g., fixing a typo in your VTC name) may be handled through the partnerships team without a full redesign review.
  • You may not use an approved livery design for a different VTC or transfer it without staff authorization.

  • The livery must clearly represent your VTC’s identity — use your VTC name, logo, or established brand colors.
  • Designs should be professional and suitable for public display in multiplayer sessions.
  • Text must be legible at normal in-game viewing distances.
  • Your design must be original work or properly licensed material you have permission to use.
  • Do not copy or closely imitate another VTC’s livery, real-world trucking company branding, or game developer assets without authorization.
  • Do not use the TrucklineMP logo as the dominant element unless explicitly approved by the Truckline team.
  • Submit source files in a common image format (PNG, PSD, or similar) at the highest resolution available.
  • The Truckline team may adjust colors, placement, or scaling to fit in-game truck models.
  • Final in-game appearance may differ slightly from mockups due to game engine constraints.

All livery artwork must comply with TrucklineMP community standards. The following content is prohibited:

  • Hate symbols, slurs, or discriminatory imagery of any kind.
  • Sexually explicit, pornographic, or overly suggestive content.
  • Graphic violence, gore, or disturbing imagery.
  • Drug-related imagery used in a promotional or glorifying manner.
  • Political campaigning, extremist messaging, or inflammatory slogans.
  • Real-world brand logos, trademarks, or copyrighted characters without documented permission from the rights holder.
  • Impersonation of official TrucklineMP branding, staff, or other VTCs.
  • QR codes, URLs, or contact information that promote external commercial services unrelated to your VTC.
  • Content that violates the TrucklineMP Terms of Service or Platform Rules.
  • Fictional or stylized designs inspired by real trucking culture are generally acceptable.
  • Direct reproduction of real company liveries (e.g., copying a known carrier’s exact paint scheme and logo) is not allowed unless you hold written authorization.

  • Approved liveries remain subject to these guidelines for as long as they are in use.
  • The Truckline team may require changes or remove a livery if:
    • Your VTC loses Partnered status.
    • The design is found to violate these guidelines after approval.
    • Your VTC is involved in conduct that brings the livery or partnership into disrepute.
    • Rights issues are raised regarding logos or artwork used in the design.
  • VTC leadership is responsible for ensuring members use the livery appropriately in-game.

Can Verified VTCs request a custom livery?

No. Custom liveries are a Partnered VTC benefit. Verified VTCs may apply for partnership to become eligible.

How many liveries can a Partnered VTC have?

Section titled “How many liveries can a Partnered VTC have?”

Each Partnered VTC is typically granted one primary livery. Additional variants (e.g., trailer livery) may be considered on a case-by-case basis — contact the partnerships team.

You will receive feedback explaining why. You may revise your design and resubmit. There is no limit on resubmissions, but each submission requires staff review.

Can members of my VTC use the livery freely?

Section titled “Can members of my VTC use the livery freely?”

Yes. Once implemented, the livery is available to members of your VTC in-game. It must not be shared with non-members or used to represent a different organization.

What happens to my livery if I lose Partnered status?

Section titled “What happens to my livery if I lose Partnered status?”

Your custom livery will be removed from the game. If you regain Partnered status, you may request re-implementation of a previously approved design, subject to a fresh compliance review.
