Connections

Connect your external accounts to TrucklineMP for identity verification, account recovery, and profile integration.

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select the Connections tab
  4. Or navigate to trucklinemp.com/user/me/settings?tab=connections

Your Steam account is permanently linked and cannot be disconnected.

  • Purpose: Primary identity verification
  • Status: Shows as “Connected” or “Not connected”
  • Steam ID: Displayed when connected

This connection is required and cannot be changed.


Link your Discord account for identity verification and account recovery.

  1. Click Connect next to Discord
  2. You’ll be redirected to Discord’s authorization page
  3. Authorize TrucklineMP to access your account
  4. You’ll be returned to TrucklineMP
  5. Your Discord username is displayed
  1. Click Disconnect next to Discord
  2. The connection is immediately removed
  • Your Discord username is shown when connected
  • Used for identity verification and account recovery

Link your Google account for easier sign-in and account recovery.

  1. Click Connect next to Google
  2. You’ll be redirected to Google’s authorization page
  3. Select your Google account
  4. Authorize TrucklineMP
  5. You’ll be returned to TrucklineMP
  1. Click Disconnect next to Google
  2. The connection is immediately removed
  • Shows as “Connected” or “Not connected”
  • Used for account recovery and sign-in

Link your YouTube channel and control whether it’s shown on your profile.

  1. Click Connect next to YouTube
  2. You’ll be redirected to Google’s authorization page
  3. Select the Google account with your YouTube channel
  4. Authorize TrucklineMP
  5. Your channel name is displayed
  1. Click Disconnect next to YouTube
  2. The connection is immediately removed

When connected, a toggle appears:

  • Show on public profile — Your YouTube channel is visible to other users
  • Hide from public profile — Only you can see the connection

Toggle changes are saved automatically.


Link your Twitch account and control whether it’s shown on your profile.

  1. Click Connect next to Twitch
  2. You’ll be redirected to Twitch’s authorization page
  3. Authorize TrucklineMP
  4. Your Twitch username is displayed
  1. Click Disconnect next to Twitch
  2. The connection is immediately removed

When connected, a toggle appears:

  • Show on public profile — Your Twitch channel is visible to other users
  • Hide from public profile — Only you can see the connection

Toggle changes are saved automatically.


  • After connecting, you’ll see a success notification
  • The service status updates to show your username
  • You may be redirected back with ?status=success in the URL
  • If a connection fails, you’ll see an error notification
  • Try again or contact support if the issue persists

  • Link at least two external accounts (Google + one other)
  • This ensures you can recover your account if you lose access
  • Review visibility toggles for YouTube and Twitch
  • Hide channels you don’t want public
  • Disconnect unused services
  • Only connect accounts you own
  • Keep connected accounts secure
  • Disconnect from services you no longer use

  • Ensure you’re signed into the correct account
  • Check that you authorized TrucklineMP
  • Try again or clear your browser cookies
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Contact support if the issue persists
  • Refresh the page
  • Check that the connection is successful
  • Reconnect if necessary
