Bans and Appeals
Bans and Appeals
Section titled “Bans and Appeals”TrucklineMP publishes certain moderation records and provides an appeals path when you disagree with a ban or suspension.
Public ban list
Section titled “Public ban list”Visit trucklinemp.com/bans to browse public ban entries.
Each record may show:
- Offense category (sanitized for privacy)
- Scope (platform, game, communication)
- Start and end dates for temporary actions
- Whether the ban is active or expired
Individual ban pages live at /bans/{id}.
Not every internal moderation note appears publicly. Sensitive details stay in staff tools.
Your profile and standing
Section titled “Your profile and standing”On your public profile:
- An active ban banner appears when you are currently banned or suspended
- The Record tab may list your ban history when visibility rules allow
Other users see only what policy permits.
Appeal eligibility
Section titled “Appeal eligibility”Not every ban can be appealed immediately. Factors include:
- Ban type and severity
- Cooldown since last appeal
- Whether the ban is permanent by policy
The support system checks eligibility when you start an appeal. If you are not eligible, the form explains why and when you can try again.
Submitting an appeal
Section titled “Submitting an appeal”- Sign in to the account that received the ban
- Open trucklinemp.com/support?lane=appeal
- Complete the appeal form with your honest explanation
- Wait for staff review on the ticket thread
Appeals are not instant chat with moderators. Staff read your ticket and respond when review is complete.
The form is not a courtroom
Section titled “The form is not a courtroom”We do not care about fake professionalism. You will not lose points for informal writing. You will lose points for lying.
The form asks two things directly:
- Was that kinda on you? Pick Yes, No, or Depends. Answer honestly, not the answer you think staff wants to hear.
- Why that happened. Explain it in your own words. No need for a formal essay, just tell us straight what happened.
Do not fake being sorry. If you genuinely believe it was not you, say that. If you know it was you, own it. Staff can tell the difference between a real explanation and a scripted apology, and honesty gets reviewed faster either way.
What to include
Section titled “What to include”- What you believe was incorrect about the decision, if anything
- Any context staff may have missed
- Evidence links (screenshots, timestamps) when relevant
- A straight, honest tone. Hostility and obvious lies lengthen review time, politeness is not required
After a decision
Section titled “After a decision”- Accepted: Restrictions lift per staff instructions. You may need to sign out and back in.
- Rejected: The ticket shows the outcome. A cooldown may apply before another appeal.
- Withdrawn: You (or staff on your behalf) pulled the appeal before a decision was made.
Discord bans
Section titled “Discord bans”Discord moderation on the official TrucklineMP server is linked to platform standing in many cases. Discord-only issues on VTC servers are handled by that VTC’s admins, not TrucklineMP staff.
Appeal platform bans through the website support system, not by DMing moderators on Discord.
API visibility
