VTC Activity Log

The activity log is an audit trail for your VTC. It helps owners and trusted staff review what changed, who acted, and when.

  1. Open your VTC Manage panel
  2. Select Activity from the sidebar (/vtc/@handle/manage/activity)

Access requires management-level permissions. If you do not see the section, your role may not include activity log access.

Typical entries include:

  • Member joins, leaves, kicks, and role changes
  • Ownership transfers
  • Recruitment settings and application decisions
  • News and event changes
  • Discord link and verification updates
  • Invitation created or revoked
  • Settings updates (name, visibility, branding)
  • Announcement webhook changes

Each entry usually shows:

  • Actor - who performed the action
  • Action type - what happened
  • Target - member or resource affected (when applicable)
  • Timestamp - when it occurred
  • Details - extra context (varies by action)

Use the log to settle disputes about who removed a member or changed recruitment settings.

If something unexpected happens (mass role changes, Discord unlinked), check recent entries and rotate sensitive tokens if needed.

When transferring management responsibility, review the last 30 days of activity with the outgoing lead.

Logs are stored for operational and moderation purposes. They are visible to VTC staff with permission, not to regular drivers unless your internal policy shares them.

Platform staff may have separate admin audit tools for cross-VTC investigations.
