Verified VTC Discord Role
Section titled “Verified VTC Discord Role”Verified VTC owners can request a special role on the main TrucklineMP Discord server: Verified VTC Manager/Owner. This role is for VTC leadership on the official community server. It is separate from your VTC’s own Discord server and from VTC Discord Verification on your profile.
The system is fully automated. Requests are checked against your TrucklineMP account and VTC permissions. No manual staff approval is required for a valid request.
What you get
Section titled “What you get”- The Verified VTC Manager/Owner role on the main TrucklineMP Discord
- Recognition as leadership of a Verified VTC
- Up to two role holders per VTC:
- The VTC owner (required slot)
- One optional manager from your VTC
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”Before you request the role, make sure all of the following are true.
For the VTC owner (you)

| Main server member | You must be a member of the official TrucklineMP Discord |
For the optional manager
Section titled “For the optional manager”If you nominate a second person, they must also:
- Be a member of your VTC on TrucklineMP
- Hold a Management position in that VTC (the role with VTC management permissions)
- Have their TrucklineMP account linked to Discord
- Have the Verified Linked Role on the main Discord server
- Not already hold this role for another VTC
You cannot nominate yourself twice. The owner slot and manager slot are separate.
How to request the role
Section titled “How to request the role”Requests are made on the main TrucklineMP Discord in the dedicated Verified VTC role channel (posted by Modbot).
- Join the official TrucklineMP Discord server.
- Complete the Discord Linked Roles flow and claim the Verified role (server name → Linked Roles).
- Open the Verified VTC role request channel.
- Click Request Role on the panel message.
- In the form:
- Leave the manager field empty to grant the role only to yourself, or
- Enter the Discord user ID of one VTC manager you want to nominate (numeric ID, not a display name).
- Submit the form. You receive an ephemeral reply with the result.
If both slots are granted, you and your nominated manager receive the role within a few seconds.
Nominating a manager later or changing manager
Section titled “Nominating a manager later or changing manager”Submit a new request with a different manager Discord user ID. The system replaces the current manager slot if one is already filled. Your owner slot is updated on each request.
Rate limit
Section titled “Rate limit”You can submit one request per minute per Discord account.
View status on TrucklineMP
Section titled “View status on TrucklineMP”VTC owners can see who holds the role from the website:
- Open your VTC Management Console.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to Main Discord Role.
This section shows:
- Whether your VTC is verified
- Who holds the owner and manager slots (if assigned)
- A link to the request channel on Discord (when configured)
Only the VTC owner can view this section.
When the role is removed automatically
Section titled “When the role is removed automatically”The role is monitored. It is removed immediately when eligibility is lost. You do not keep the Discord role after your VTC or position no longer qualifies.
Common reasons for removal:

| VTC is disbanded | All grants for that VTC are revoked |
| Ownership transfer | The previous owner’s grant is revoked. The new owner must request again |
| Member removed from the VTC | That member’s grant is revoked |
| Manager loses management permissions | That manager’s grant is revoked |
| Discord unlinked from TrucklineMP | All grants for that user are revoked |
| Verified Linked Role removed on Discord | Grant is revoked on the next eligibility check |
There is no grace period after verification is revoked. Plan to re-request only after your VTC is verified again and you still meet all requirements.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting””You must own a verified VTC”
Section titled “”You must own a verified VTC””Your VTC does not have active Verified Program status, or you are not the owner. Check Verified Status in your management panel.
”You need the Verified linked role”
Section titled “”You need the Verified linked role””Claim the Verified role through server name → Linked Roles on the main Discord. Connecting Discord under trucklinemp.com Settings → Connections alone does not satisfy this requirement.
”The nominated user must have a VTC Management position”
Section titled “”The nominated user must have a VTC Management position””The person you entered is not a VTC member with management permissions. Assign them the Management role (or equivalent permissions) in your VTC first.
”The nominated manager must have the Verified linked role”
Section titled “”The nominated manager must have the Verified linked role””Your manager must complete the Linked Role opt-in on the main server before you nominate them.
”This user already holds the role for another VTC”
Section titled “”This user already holds the role for another VTC””Each person can only hold this role for one VTC at a time.
”You own multiple verified VTCs”
Section titled “”You own multiple verified VTCs””The automated flow supports one verified VTC per owner. Contact Truckline staff if you need help for an edge case.
Role missing after a successful request
Section titled “Role missing after a successful request”- Confirm you are on the main TrucklineMP Discord server, not a staff or beta server.
- Wait a few seconds and check your roles again.
- If it still fails, open a support ticket with your VTC name and Discord username.
