Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”TrucklineMP sends in-app notifications for activity that concerns you: VTC updates, recruitment, events, moderation notices, and more.
Notification bell
Section titled “Notification bell”Signed-in users see a bell icon in the site header.
- A badge shows how many unread notifications you have
- Click the bell to open the popover list
- Click a notification to open the related page (when a link is available)
- Mark individual items read or clear the list from the popover
There is no separate full-page notification center yet. The bell is the primary interface.
What you might receive
Section titled “What you might receive”Examples include:
- VTC application accepted or rejected
- New recruitment application (for VTC staff)
- Event reminders or RSVP changes
- Platform announcements
- Moderation or account notices (when applicable)
Exact types depend on your roles and activity.
Discord DM delivery
Section titled “Discord DM delivery”If your Discord account is linked under Connections, the TrucklineMP Discord bot may deliver the same notification as a direct message on Discord.
Requirements:
- Discord connected at
trucklinemp.com/user/me/settings?tab=connections - Your Discord account allows DMs from server members / the TrucklineMP bot
- The notification type is eligible for Discord relay
DM delivery is a convenience copy. Always check the website bell for the authoritative list.

Mobile app
Section titled “Mobile app”The TrucklineMP mobile app has its own notification APIs. Mobile push is separate from the website bell but may show similar items.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”Notifications are private to your account. Other users cannot see your notification list.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Bell shows a count but the list is empty
Section titled “Bell shows a count but the list is empty”Refresh the page. If it persists, sign out and back in.
Not receiving Discord DMs
Section titled “Not receiving Discord DMs”Confirm Discord is linked, DMs are open, and you are not blocked by the bot. See Discord Notifications.
Missing recruitment alerts
Section titled “Missing recruitment alerts”You need the correct VTC staff permissions and recruitment must be enabled for your VTC.
